In martial arts, particularly ones like judo, akido and ju-jitsu, they do a lot of break falls; a controlled way of landing from a throw that reduces the impact damage to the body. These can range from a roll to slapping the floor with your arm. I was hoping you might be able to explain how this actually reduces the force? I thought that perhaps a roll lengthens the time of the impact which could somehow reduce it, and perhaps the way you land might link to maximising the surface area reducing the pressure. But I’m not too sure, especially on why we slap the floor. Whilst on the topic of sport, does shouting when fighting or playing tennis actually improve your playing?

Do you think theoretically that there will be a point, where a ‘Super’ Virus affects the ‘Micro world’ where diseases could be wiped out, if yes will this be a bad thing or will the absence of ‘good’ micro-organisms affect us in more of a negative way than the absence of ‘bad’ micro-organisms will affect us?

What is the definition of a zombie? Are they actually possible, or at least to the extent that they would walk around eating us and the only way to kill them is to destroy the brain. if not, where did the idea even come from, and why does the world seem so obsessed with them? There are that many films and programs out there its almost as if some people want a zombie apocalypse to actually happen!
